The Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015) came into force in Great Britain on 6 April 2015. They set out what people involved in construction work need to do to protect themselves from harm and anyone the work affects. This involves having sensibly plan the work so the risks involved are managed from start to finish.
The Regulations seek to improve the management of the project relating risks by promoting active involvement of all disciplines right from inception through to completion of a project.
Huntsman Eldridge provide the services of a CDM co-ordinator who will advise and assist on how to comply with the CDM Regulations during a project, and will ensure that suitable arrangements are made and implemented for the co-ordination of health and Safety measures during the planning and preparation for the construction phase of a Notifiable Project.
